Opportunities

Emmaus College strongly encourages student participation in a variety of co-curricular activities.  These activities are offered across four broad categories:

    • Music
    • Sport
    • Academic
    • Pastoral

Music

Students can be involved in instrumental music ensembles or musical production.   Numerous opportunities exist to perform at school and in the wider community.

Sport

Students can be involved in a number of team or solo sports.  Opportunities are provided for a range of skill levels.

Academic

Students are given opportunities throughout the year to advance their academic pursuits through various competitions.  Emmaus actively participates in debating, public speaking, maths and science competitions, and more.

Pastoral

Emmaus College staff members conduct several retreats throughout the year for students.  Opportunities are also provided to participate actively in the community through church and school-run charity events.

Who can participate?

All students from years 8 to 12 are welcome to participate in co-curricular events.  Opportunities are advertised through morning notices and the newsletter throughout the year.  For more information, see the relevant coordinator.
